The Outdoor Degree

San Juan Lodge #175 is privileged to have access to, and share responsibility for maintenance of the John S. McMillin Memorial Mausoleum, located on the premises of the beautiful Roche Harbor Resort. Each year on the 3rd Saturday in May, our lodge confers a Fellow Craft Degree at the Mausoleum.  See our Calendar of Events for upcoming dates.

The McMillin family memorial

John S. McMillin created the mausoleum as a memorial to the dreams and aspirations of his generation. Made of limestone, the memorial features symbolic icons that represent McMillin’s family, the Masonic Order and the stages of physical and spiritual life.

The Fellow-Craft Degree

Every 3rd Saturday of May the Masonic Lodge is proud to host a 2nd (Fellow-Craft) Degree out at this beautiful Mausoleum. The winding stairs and roman columns have significant Masonic usages and play a role in the degree rituals.
